Mr. Tunde Agbontafara

Tunde Agbontafara, ACTI, FCA is a Fellow of the Institute chartered accountants of Nigeria, Associate Member, Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and a graduate of Accountancy. He has 23 years post qualification experience in both professional audit practice and the financial industry in Nigeria and abroad. He has spent 18 of his 23 years’ diverse work experience in the banking industry.

His robust banking experience covers key facets such as Financial Control, Performance Management, Strategy and Planning, Operations and Corporate Services.

Tunde commenced his banking career in 1997 with Omega Bank and subsequently worked with such leading banks as Standard Chartered Bank, Standard Trust Bank/UBA and Equitorial Trust Bank. He was the pioneer Chief Financial Officer at Global Trust Bank, Uganda after which he joined Mainstreet Bank where he retired as Deputy General Manager in 2015.

He is currently the Managing Consultant at Revenue Cycle Consulting, a Finance, Tax and Management Consulting firm based in Lagos. He is also on the Board of many reputable companies. Widely travelled, Tunde is married with 2 children and has interests in reading and sporting activities.
